The media hasn't quite figured out how big a star Kevin James is, but the American public is in no doubt.

I know this film isnt actually out yet, but one of my friends at Sony got hsi hands on a preview, and i gotta say after watching it i was quite impressed. Despite being very predictable it offers a great evening for you and a group of friends, With some great laughs and some strange people, you should definetly rent this movie.

Really bad film. It just wasn't funny. The jokes are played out, predictable, and poorly executed. It was very boring.

eh...an ok film. I'd say watch it if there's nothing better for you to do. Yeah its a good film, but not the greatest, and it really doesn't show Kevin James' funniest side. The plot is good, and there are some funny moments in it, but I would make an effort to watch it again. Some may disagree, but it was passable.

this film isn't over the top funny as in some other comedies, but is really funny to those who have a sense of humour.

    worthy of a watch

I'm a fan of Kevin James, but oh dear what a clunker this movie is on all levels. I actually felt uncomfortable with the character he was playing - nobody is that much of a loser. There were virtually no visual or verbal gags in the first half of the film, except for a cliche bumping into something.

The second half of the film did improve as it moved on from the self pity characterization of Paul Blart. There were a few more chuckle moments, as he tries to help his friends in the shopping mall siege.

Overall a real cringe fest - I expected a lot more from Kevin James. Oh and look out for another cameo role for his brother.
