    Great voice, big ego

I'm a Queen fan. And to be fair, I hadn't paid Paul Rodgers much, or even any, attention until he teamed up with Brian May and Roger Taylor in late 2004. Before the Queen+Paul Rodgers concerts the following year I went out and bought Best Of albums for Free and Bad Company to brush up on the big hits, and I enjoyed them. At the concerts I went to Paul Rodgers took to the music well and I enjoyed the performance, although I felt that his ego was a bit over inflated and he sometimes was a bit put out by, or even jealous of, the other two. On this DVD he is the centre of attention and he loves it, but it doesn't carry the rock as good I don't think. Still, a great performance, great voice, and as I said, a big ego. Definitely one for the music DVD collection.

    Understated Excellence

(3rd September 2009) Using a very basic (simple / raw) stage and set. Some incredibly soulful rock-blues & 'that voice' ! Dated . . yes . . yet a fabulous and meaty 4 piece band doin' it all exactly as it needs to be done. Thrills the audience with a great dose of crowd pleasing classics ('brilliant'). At times this is exciting, involving and gripping.
