Dont knock it until you've tried it!
By john murray from Belfast , 05 Aug 2004[Highly rated reviewer]
I'm not one for listening to reviews too much, however I thought it was only fair to balance some of the not so positive comments made on this film.
This is a thriller, not a classic, but one that offers a unique storyline which carries through to the end. The only reason I wouldnt give it the full 5 stars is just because some of the action scenes are set up in a way that are at times perdictable. This is the only downside and not a very big reason not to watch it, so get it out and enjoy it for what it is, a well thought out action packed movie that makes you think. If you liked Minority Report, you will like this.- Was this review helpful to you?

(390)Phillip k Dick Cash In, but a winner...
By GordonVader (106 reviews) from Emerald City, oz , 10 Jan 2013[Highly rated reviewer]
ok so I have decided in my infinite wisdom to review every single film i have ever seen on love film... Currently still on the letter 'A' So Paycheck... What can I say, another awesome Movie from the quill of Philip K Dick... the man who brought us Bladerunner, Scanners, Total Recall, Minority Report, A Scanner Darkly and so many others... This movie takes us into familiar Phillip K Dick territory with the manipulation of time being a core idea... Deja vu anyone? ...the script the characters and the acting are all top notch and I'm always a little surprised this film didn't quite make the a list like some of the others... Deja Vu anyone? (yeah yeah, i know...)- Was this review helpful to you?

philip k dick is the best!
By NativityInBlack (119 reviews) from Birmingham , 03 Sep 2012really enjoyed this, there were lots of little things that reminded me of roral recall which isnt surprising since this is from a philip k dick story too.
really has a nice 80s throwback feel to it, even in the anglesand types of shots john woo uses through the action set pieces.
if you enjoy older sci-fi action movies you cant go wrong with this one, not the most stylish or cutting edge film but filled with a kind of comfortable charm uncommon in films made after the mid 90s- Was this review helpful to you?

Give it a try
By TopGun (11 reviews) from Kettering , 06 Aug 2011[Highly rated reviewer]
A very entertaining film, definitely worth watching. I honestly don't understand why some people are so negative about this film. Since it first came out I've watched it three times and enjoyed it equally well each time.- Was this review helpful to you?
