Pain with Entertainment

I have seen some movies that inspire me for something. Peepli live is one of those. It is really a special film to unveil the real stories of the poor farmers. Aamir chose the right way to put this situation on screen by putting some humor in it so people should watch it for entertainment while at the end of the day the purpose behind the making of this film will be accomplished. By NMc (9 reviews) , 21 Dec 2011A true gem - this is not a Bollywood singing-dancing film. You dont have to be Indian to enjoy this either. Watch it - you wont regret it! Great Indian Satire - one to watch!
By a customer , 03 Dec 2011This is a funny (although quite black) satire highlighting the serious subject of debt and poverty amongst Indian farmers, which drives some of them to suicide. The way modern media and politicians pick up on issues and manipulate them for their own ends is shown brilliantly. This is a great film - recommended!- Was this review helpful to you?

Great fun

wont drive you to suicide
