Lindsey (Drew Barrymore) is an ambitious business consultant, approaching "twenty-ten", whose spirit is as luminous as her beauty. High-school teacher Ben (Jimmy Fallon) is a good catch. He's charming, funny and great with kids, but has a small income. Sure, they have their differences. She's a workaholic; he loves his .. Read more

A genuinely funny, sweet and unusual twist on the standard formula for Rom-Coms
Really funny, really honest... real romantic comedy
This was a great feel good film.
Restores faith in romance.
Something any women can probabley relate to.
Great to watch with your man or for a girly night in!.
Great film to enjoy when you want to be left with the feel good factor.
Not too deep but great fun and you don't want to leave the tv screen.
If you like romance/comedy you will love this one.
I've just watched this film and thought it was great. Very funny. Luckily I don't live with a sports fanatic but my sister does and this film is so true to life, how she has to deal with everything revolving around football (obvioulsy it's baseball in this film) but how moody he gets when they lose etc.etc.
Great girly film, lots of laughs. Typical Drew Barrymore film but certainly one of her best. She's in alot of these kind of boy meets girl films (50 first dates with Adam Sandler, great film too).
I definetly recommened for girls night in bottle of wine and some choccies.
didn't think much of this movie, even though i generally like drew barrymore movies. it was extremely slow and didn't seem to get anywhere. poor imatation of 'fever pitch' .not worth watching unless you need something to make you sleep
Not expecting too much from this movie, The Perfect Catch which was released in USA and Canada, as Fever Pitch. I was pleasantly surprised, it was funny and had a good story which relates well to modern living. Initially, I decided to watch it because it starred Drew Barrymore, never miss her movies, we grew up together. Ok, just some hundred miles apart but ..loved her since ET. The other main star Jimmy Fallon is equally good in this romantic comedy, loosely based on the Nick Hornby book Fever Pitch. A movie I recommend for the quiet night in, the glass of wine moment.

This is the sort of romantic comedy that won't offend anybody and has enough laughs to keep you entertained. Don't expect the wit of High Fidelity or the weirdness of About a Boy, both also written by Nick Hornby. Both Fallon and Barrymore are very likeable in their roles and the switch from the original football to baseball is handled smoothly. Much better than recent romantic comedies such as Hitch and 13 Going On 30, this is good old fashioned inoffensive comedy with a touch of charm.
a very good work from Drew Barimore but very pridictable plot line nevertheless entertaining
Great film, good sport element, so good for both sexes
Need I say more!
If you've not seen Fever Pitch rent it
Good old fashioned Chick Flick. Hubby watched and enjoyed although he won't admit to it!! Lighthearted, fun but not memorable (The film not my hubby!!)
very good. very touching.
if you like the whole funny, romance thing this is great, had to watch twice.
made me laugh the whole way through.
