Perfect Life

Took a plunge dispite the negative reviews. The acting and producion are slightly poor and there is deinately a low budget feel apart from the period custume party. This film feels like a cross between a school play and Cruel Intentions. However there is a good story line in amidst all the surreal plots and turns - I think the poor reviews are down to the anti-climatic ending which is vague and you will ot understand unless paying attention. This is not a horror movie it is more thriller/ fantasy. Read on for spoilers: There are several twist and turns, its basically a story about a poor guy trying to get into a rich college fraternity. His rich best friend has paid his way through college and paid for everything else for him throughout his life. They are also both in love with the same girl and this causes a lot of guilt on behalf of the poor guy as he feels indebted to his best rich friend. This guilt leads to alot of hullucinations which cover up what really happened and form the twists and turns of the mvie - the twists and turns are not true they are lies the poor guy tells himself and the old guy at the end to cover up the real truth in the end. Which was in order to get into the fraternity the pair (rich friend and poor friend) steal a car and crash, the rich kid dies, and every other plot and turn you see in the movie is a lie and figments of the poor friends imagination until he tells and faces up to the ultimate truth that he killed his best friend in a joy riding accident, by telling the truth he gains entry into the ultimate fraternity which is heaven. The old guy is both the doctor and the gate keeper.
