Television at its best

Enthralling drama with an all star cast. 'Perfect Strangers' tells the story of a grand family reunion at a posh hotel. Although the main character does not know most of the other guests, he gradually uncovers harrowing past histories of the most unlikely seeming relatives.

I rented these dvds because of reviews I saw on amazon.co.uk, look there for more intellectual critiques. However, you don't need to be intellectual to thoroughly enjoy this drama.

Recommended if you're tired of watching

the rubbish that is currently served up as entertainment and proof of the excellence which can be achieved when not chasing box office ratings.
