  • A clever, funny and unusual thriller

Although set around a timeworn premise of 'man borrows money from unpleasant character/creditor calls in debt/debtor doesn't have the money', Perrier's Bounty does something refreshing and highly entertaining with it. A briliant ensemble cast with Broadbent, Gleeson and Murphy at its core really bring a script as effervescent as Perrier itself to life. Some brilliant set pieces, a terrific line in salty whimsy and some unexpectedly verbose vocabulary from the Dublin gangsters set this apart from your run of the mill gangster flick.

  • One of the best gangster films of recent years.

Loved it! Perrier's Bounty was everything I hoped it would be. A simple, honest storyline with plenty of humour. The added sentimental touch sets this apart from the average gangster film.

  • Nonexistant story line

What a shame the storyline in this movie was nonexistant. Really good actors, very well acted but not sure where it was going. Jim Broadbent is such a good actor but he was terrible doing an Irish accent.

  • Not great in any way

Wouldn't watch it again and couldn't say I'd recommend it.

    Comedy? No.

    Gritty? Maybe.

    Pretty dire? Almost certainly.

One odd thing. As much as I like Jim Broadbent. I'm pretty sure Ireland has home grown actors. So why on earth not use one of those?

  • Dublin Gangster!

    Rated - 4.0 stars

If you like a ganster movie with an Irish twist then this is for you. Popular Dublin sights highlighted by authentic Dublin accents let down only by Jim Broadbent who could do better.

    Definitely worth a watch

Not as funny as I expected but I still really enjoyed it. It keeps up a good pace and it overall was a decent film.
