    Don't bother

Utter rubbish. Probably unauthorised, crap interviews, poor footage, nothing to see here, move along.....not worth 1 star but that's the lowest rating I could give !

    Ill-advised Rental

Misinformed, poorly edited, badly researched, imbalanced. I was very disappointed with this documentary. I read the previous review and thought I'd give it the benefit of the doubt. I urge other members to make their own decision but I would definitely not recommend this pathetic production. Filled with talking heads that have no real understanding whatsoever of anything regarding Pink Floyd, however it does include some incite full anecdotes from persons that actually did spend time with the band itself (these clips can be found on other more professional reviews though). Terribly unprofessional CGI cut scenes coupled with out of focus and badly copied existing TV interviews of the band. There are certain sound clips included that have been taken from amateurish tribute bands covering the classic Floyd works that just add to the list of mistakes the production team made when making this horrid DVD. Others would include: weak visual effects, bad quality audio reproduction and feeble video representation of this fantastic band. The documentary is by no means retrospective, nor encompassing of the Floyd back catalogue. Ending at the point of the making of the Wish You Were Here album it does not mention anything of the following 5 Floyd albums that I'd consider to complete their entire works. The albums it does choose to include are not given the same amount of airtime, indicating the lack of research made on certain albums that may have not been the favourite of the editing or production team, possibly? This review is purely from my own personal opinion after watching the DVD, having looked forward to watching what was ill described as The Ultimate Independant Review of the Music of Pink Floyd. Give it a go. You may disagree with me, I hope others find more positive elements from this ultimately dismal DVD. http://www.myspace.com/jimcooperbass
