Definitely worth seeing if you like old British films.

There are two stories in this film, but only one is told. The other is hastily narrated in the final scene but would have made an interesting second half to the film in its own right. This film is reminder of how horribly suffocating Edwardian society was; it's pretty interesting but the acting is generally old fashioned though Googie Withers is excellent. The film deserves to be better known than it is without being earth shattering.
