MORE KILLER FISH, MORE FLESH, MORE BLOOD......AND THE HOFF!By MAVERICK (70 reviews) from Knottingley , 12 May 2012
[Highly rated reviewer]With Piranha 3DD as the title suggest you get what you pay for.
For those who complained that 2010's Piranha was nothing but trash then they won't think anything else of this, as it's even more trashy!
But for a film that never sets out to be anything else and has it's tongue pushed even further into it's bloody cheek this sequel is just as much gleeful fun. To say this sequel was originally intended to be a cheap driect to DVD / Blu Ray release would have done the film an injustice, as although it never sets it's sights on anything other than being a daft creature feature missing the sight of 'The Hoff' poking fun out of his macho/ self loving image and playing himself as he opens up a waterpark, dressed as Mitch from Bay Watch. Only to find his true calling in life as the hungry fish end up in the pool. For the sight of Hoff running in slow-mo to the Baywatch theme while bathers get munched only for the music to be cut short and Hoff declairing he's too old is worth the price of the ticket alone. This low budget sequel has more action and more laughs than the first, but with a tighter budget when the dinner bell is rung, the havoc is not quite as spectacular as the first film, but with some intentional brilliantly dumb lines the film is great fun.
The film will get mauled by stuffy critics, but for those who enjoyed the daftness of the 2010 movie should relish every minute and in comparison to 2011's shoddy Shark Night, Piranha 3DD tears chunks out of it.

Something smells fishy!By unclerico (22 reviews) from Ayr , 29 Sep 2012
[Highly rated reviewer]With a better director this would have been fun. Alas, this is a totally inept effort with no sense of logic or humour. The hoff's ability to poke fun at himself is the reason that this gets half a star, but only just.
rrrreeeeaaaallllyyyy........ badBy laserman (4 reviews) , 27 Sep 2012Jesus wept............ was this film for real. i can deal with tongue in cheek but this was a complete farce, i dont know how the cast and crew can live with them selves, the only good thing was when dave hasslehoff took the mick out of the ginger kid hahaha. def. 1 of the worse films ive ever seen,
Very Bad......Honest.By Ton123 (2 reviews) , 26 Sep 2012This really is bad, not even funny bad. Dont waste your time. trys to be horror funny but fails..The Hoff must need a few bob to be in this
PALLETABLE EDIBLEBy a customer , 26 Sep 2012Well its start a bit scary like Jaws and gradually becomes dafter. For me some of the daftness was great and i was in stitches at bits.
The Hoff . Was to be honest it just seemed a inflated ego trip for him. What i disliked was people were getting butchered and eaten all around him and he sat on the pedalstool like he was watching a 5 a side match
totally moronic. avoid.By emperor10 (217 reviews) from newcastle upon tyne , 23 Sep 2012the first film i enjoyed - i 'got it',and thought it was a laugh. this effort is just purile pathetic rubbish. the hoff,Ving Rhames, Christopher Lloyd, Gary Busey - is money that short, that you would do garbage like this?
