I'm Hooked Captain.. this is another 'Pirates' to treasure..By PaulaWestwood (397 reviews) from Ashton-Under-Lyne , 25 May 2007
[Highly rated reviewer]Though this is a long voyage (at 168 minutes !) in many ways 'Worlds End' is even more immense and pleasurable than 1 and 2, the humour and story plot (ably aided by our home talent of McKenzie Crook, Kevin Mcnally, Keira Knightly.. etc etc) is superb.
Without spoiling anything, the lords of the Pirates from the four corners of the globe must put their internal squabbles and infighting on the back burner (not apparently an easy task !) to collect together to fight off the dominance of the East India Trading companies grip on the high seas, and their popular (ha !) member Jack Sparrow must (to their dismay) be rescued from the grip of the Kraken to aid them in their endeavour.
For our family this isn't just a film... it's an event... and we were thoroughly and absolutely absorbed by this. It is fantastic, entirely what cinema is about and shouldn't be missed by anyone young or old.
A most definate recommendation !!

Not as good as first 2By KHam (5 reviews) , 31 May 2011This film is good but definately not as good as the 2 prior to this. However, I'm guessing you have to watch this one to understand what goes on in the 4th one (Stranger Tides) which i will do. It was a bit difficult to follow. If you do watch this one make sure you've watched the 2 previous onces otherwise you'll never follow it.
Pirates of the Caribbean At Worlds EndBy cdot (43 reviews) , 29 May 2011I think they have made enough of these films. Did not enjoy it at all and did not watch it until the end. The films are all the same so will not even bother with the 4th Installment, Very disappointing.
Okay !By Deanodeano82 (3 reviews) , 26 May 2011Good visuals but I found it hard to follow. It definitely feels like the film is part of a sequence as there are a lot of unanswered questions. Quite a shocking and sad ending. Worth a watch if you want to see the next one.....
Captain Sparrow helps.....By KIDNA (26 reviews) from SOMERSET , 28 Apr 2011Enjoyed the first two. This did not dissappoint! Cant wait to watch the next one. Must say Captain Sparrow helps with the viewing pleasure. Sad to hear Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann do not feature in next one.
we fell asleepzzzzzBy a customer from Bath , 24 Feb 2011I already thought the second one was rather boring but this one is even worse. They tried to stack the film with too much info, fun, jokes, thrills that it becomes very messy and boring. Captain Jack Sparrow's funny character, which I so enjoyed in the Black Pearl has become pathetic in my opinion. I was willing to give it another chance but I don't that the new one will get that benefit of the doubt...sorry Johnny ;)
