    Holy poker!

Best Pirates film ever? Of course it is. Very funny with a great story. I only hope the UK DVD is as good (or better) than the Polish releases.

    misunderstood classic

Universally slated by critics, proving once and for all that critics are sheep. This is the greatest pirate film of all time - a joy from start to finish - the first hour in particular. Escapism of the highest order, with performances full of conviction and a story that avoids the parody. A film that deserves your affection!
