Relatively entertaining footage. Poorly presented by Brian Moore. He sounds bitter about just about everything. Sad, sad man.
With myself being a rugby player, I thought I would get this DVD to see the more illegal aspects of the game (high tackles, late shots).
This DVD has got some awesome tackles on it, and if you don't like the contact stuff I suggest not to get this DVD.
However, I loved it, some funny moments and some absolute bone-crunching tackles, a good watch.
One only for rugby officianados. If you enjoy over zealous rucking, the occassional punch up, clips of how "naughty" Brian Moore was along with pithy commentary by the aforementioned Mr Moore, then this may be for you. It appears they didn't have access to much current international film footage and therefore a lot of the film is old or of poor standard. Useful, if you want a bit of insight into what goes on off the ball/what starts fights.
Worth watching just to see the great JPR Williams rushing in from full back to sort out the All Blacks during the Lions tour.
Good but maybe not for those not into rugby. Plenty of old footage, would have been better with more up to date stuff too.
