I had this film recommended to me by a friend, whose choices are often quite bizarre and better off missed. However, this was a decent film which was full of suspense and quite scary in parts. Vin Diesel proves that he can actually act, and is probaly the perfect choice for Riddick. The aliens were very good and very nasty and in all this is really worth watching. My only disappointment was in the killing of one of the main characters that I expected to survive. That said, it probably helped to make the ending better.
