Men in Monkey Suits !!!!!By Shaun Garrity from Leeds,England , 10 Aug 2004
[Highly rated reviewer]You either will love or hate this. Appealing or appalling. If you liked the original movies, then this series will be for you. Faster paced than the movies due to the 1 hr episode length, the whole series could be regarded as one long story, split into convenient chapters.
It works for me, Roddy McDowell delivering as always a believable man-chimp. Yes, the monkey?s mouths never synchronised with the spoken words, but that?s some of the appeal. Don?t take this too serious and enjoy it for what it is....Good, entertaining viewing. Go on rent the lot?.you know it makes sense!!!

I love the apesBy mark from tyne valley, england , 20 Dec 2005I can never get enough of Roddy and pals running around in ape costumes probably because I delighted in ape mania as a child. When you're so emotioanlly wrapped up its hard to pass judgement that is meaningful for others but the original movie aside this TV series is the best ape fest going.

excellentBy a customer from Southern England , 19 Sep 2005i missed this first time around but it is so excellent. the comment from another reviewer was so right starsky and hutch and people in dressed as monkeys but i think its great.
Childhood memoriesBy Nicholas Cook from Nottingham, England , 02 Mar 2005Oh, the memories! That ape on the horse holding his gun up used to scare me as a kid. Never mind the plotholes or the fact you cant quite match up the time line to the movies. Just enjoyable stuff.
