Superb

I loved this. I hadn’t seen any of these films (apart from the fairly recent remake). If you have never heard anything about these films and do rent just be careful and close your eyes when going through the menu as it gives away the ending somewhat. It is really worth watching this and can't wait to see the sequel.- Was this review helpful to you?

Still worth a watch

"We finally really did it!"
By souvenir86 (28 reviews) from South East Kent , 09 Apr 2012I recently watched 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' and enjoyed it, so I thought I would have a look at the original. It's a great concept and has a well written script (Rod Serling, creator of The Twilight Zone, co-wrote it). My only criticism is that the direction is a little flat and slightly dated.
