A great ensemble film about real grown ups with real grown up problems, honestly directed with a smart, funny and sincere script.
If you thought all mainstream Hollywood family dramas were trite, ridiculous and horribly manipulative please see this film and realise that there is still a glimmer of hope for those of us who care about quality film making.- Was this review helpful to you?

(81)Real life
By Tonitimm (29 reviews) , 18 May 2013I absolutely loved this film. I'd never heard of it, but sat watching, totally engrossed, very thought provoking, great acting, no hanging about, straight to the story. I didn't want it to end and could easily put this on my shelf to watch again...and again....- Was this review helpful to you?

It's fine
By a customer , 23 Mar 2013It's sweet and funny and not very demanding; so we liked it. A bit like Woody Allen-lite! PS no car chases or guns.- Was this review helpful to you?

A film about real life and real people.
By loonylinney (56 reviews) , 17 Mar 2013It's really great to find a film that gets by without CGI and special effects, and still manages to touch the heart. Thought-provoking study of real characters and how they interact. If you like a film that shows a little intelligence, you'll like this.- Was this review helpful to you?

Easy to watch....
By Scarysair (4 reviews) , 11 Mar 2013Enjoyable & quite heart-warming. Uncomplicated & involving just a handful of characters. A nice movie to watch 'just for the sake of it',- Was this review helpful to you?
