Poirot always makes for unsatisfying TV. The visual feast of georgeous exteriors and marvellous sets, spiced up with meaty plot lines, rapidly becomes indigestible after too frequent ad breaks. Watch on DVD however and the experience is much more fulfilling. You can actually follow the plot twists. I feel replete.
David Suchet the best
not as good as other poirot films but good entertainment
All I can do is marvel that Agatha Christie continued to write such clever (if rather convoluted) plots, while David Suchet proceeds with his definitive performances as Poirot. And, as usual, excellent direction and production values. Great fun.
Absoloutely excellent who dunnit with David Suchet - who surely must be the archetypal HP - delivering another splendid performance. Well worth watching.

I am a committed fan of the Agatha Christie Poirot collection. David Suchet plays the part of Hercule Poirot perfectly, I have not seen anyone come close to capturing the essence of Poirot that he does.
An enjoyable story which follows the plot of the book to the letter. Recommended to Poirot fans.
David Suchet returns in the role of Poirot which he had very much made his own.
His acting is as rock-solid and as competent as always and yet the story seems a little dull and bland at times.
By the end, I'd guessed the conclusion but had lost interest in the wandering plot.

Its great watching David suchet as poirot, and he gets the ones responsible as he always does without giving anything away
