Again, another intricate plot from Agatha Christie. David Suchet is the ideal Poirot, weaving his way nimbly through another complicated murder.
This story was made in 1999 and it's a cracker with some credible acting on everyone's part.
David Suchet again delights as the Belgian Super-Sleuth and Philip Jackson returns as Chief Inspector Japp. Good story with a villain and plot that's actually solvable if you watch and listen carefully.
And if that wasn't enough, you have with it the bonus of Lord Edgware Dies, which again is excellent featuring Hugh Fraser as Captain Hastings and Poirot's secretary Miss Lemon played wonderfully by Pauline Moran.
Again it's a nicely paced story and if you watch hard you will guess who the murderer is.
One thing to beware of, if you hire this - Don't Hire the DVD in the Series called Lord Edgeware Dies because that one is a reverse of this, in that the other story is 'The Murder Of Roger Ackroyd'. So save that extra pointless rental :-)
