The connection to the original Poison Ivy comes with repressed college student Lily (Alyssa Milano) finding Drew Barrymore's old diary. After reading it, she is inspired to transform herself into a sexually liberated woman, confusing her boyfriend and generating lust in her professor (Xander Berkeley). After Lily's transformation, the movie doesn't know what to do, with Berkeley's sudden change in character only occurring to facilitate some kind of climax. The stereotypical supporting characters (quiet Asian, feminist lesbian) could easily have been eliminated. Another sequel, Poison Ivy: The New Seduction, followed in 1997.
Dull, unimaginative film with no real story, just a poor excuse for a soft porn flick, and not particularly erotic at that.
Complete waste of time, didn't even bother watching the last 30 minutes... if it was exciting, that must be when it was!
I watched this film before the 1st poison Ivy & really enjoyed Poison Ivy 2. You will have to read comments on Poison Ivy what i thought of it.

like your typical sequel...not as good as i thought the first one was.

The only reason I wanted to see this film is I'm a fan of Charmed which Alyssa stars in. I was quite surprised though as I quite enjoyed this film. It has a similar idea to it as the first film. It has a few sex scenes but nothing explicit. The actin isn't too bad either and the ending even though predictable is still edge of the seat stuff. Worth a watch even if you're not an Alyssa fan
Fast forward the first hour you won't miss much utter tosh
Its all about her...movie as such is crap but worth just for Allyssa.
I found this film very entertaining and the acting was rather good too.
A fun film to watch if you liked Poision Ivy 1.
utter rubbish, week story, so bad I fell asleep.
on a par with the first movie, but only worth watching for alyssa milano in her pre 'charmed' days.
Sad excuse for a film. Poison Ivy 1 at least had some sort of plot, this was just a pointless waste of time.
Am gutted I actually payed for the privilege to watch this film.
