    One Of My Favourites

We all know that the Police Academy movies are a taste not suited to everyone and most say that after Police Academy 4, they went completely downhill.

Police Academy 5 is one of my personal favourites, Commandant Lassard is to retire from the academy but not before he is honoured as the Police Officer Of The Decade at Miami Beach.

Lassard's loyal recruits join him in the trip to Miami Beach, 'Harris' and 'Proctor' tag along too.

On the way to the airport, Lassard's bag gets mixed up with that of diamond thieves and when arriving at Miami, the crooks realising what has happened, seek out the Commandant to rectify their little problem.

This is the first time that we see Matt McCoy who is obviously some form of replacement for Steve Guttenberg's 'Mahoney' and in all honesty i don't think Steve Guttenberg was as great as many make out so McCoy is a pretty good alternative.

Very entertaining fun for the whole family.

    Classic Comedy.

Not all the regulars are back, but we do have Tackleberry, Hightower, Procter, Hooks, Callahan and Lassard. Incredibly funny, this one is one of the better ones. This Assignment is in Miami and Lassard is attending an award ceremony when he is kidnapped. The Usual caper and laughs. Police Academy is classic comedy.

    Slapstick fun 5

Police Academy films are classics. If you like slapstick, buffoning comedy, then rent them all as that is what you'll get. Shame they didn't make more....lol

    Very Funny!

Well, as expected I really enjoyed this movie!

    Very, very funny!

    ***Favourite Scene***

Too many to mention, but one of my favourite, was the 'lift scene' where one of the bad guys ends up farting. Sounds stupid, but the scene itself left me in hysterics!

lost the plot slightly.....but still ok though.....

I found after Police Academy 3 enough was enough, but you had built a relationship with the characters so you are just pulled in to see what new characters would appear and get up to next.

There are still some funny gags in this movie especially one involving sun cream!!!

Watch it for the summer sun and the babes and beach!

But you still cannot beat the first movie!!
