I was looking forward to seeing Police Story 2 as the first in the series is vintage Jackie Chan. However, this film seems to have been influenced too much by the west as explosions are used rather than Jackie's fists.
The story continues straight after the first film and many of the characters are the same. However, this film seems to lack the direction of the first and confused me as to what was going on.
The fight scenes that are in the film are good but can not compare to those in the first film. Also there is no major stunt that can compare to the Shopping Mall leap.
I still recommend this film to those who like Jackie but suggest that as an introduction to him its a bit poor and suggest Police Story 1 instead.
