Is this a joke?By mattsgirl from Berkshire , 14 Feb 2005
[Highly rated reviewer]Only one word describes this film. Ridiculous! Clearly trying to cash in on the first films success, the plot is flimsy, the effects are shockingly bad and it is as scary as a childrens tea party.
My boyfriend and I were in hysterics at the final showdown scene. Good for a laugh, but not much else.

one shining light.By a customer from Bristol , 23 Jan 2009I would never recommend watching a film for the performance of a single actor, however I recommend you watch this film purely for the performance of Julian Beck as 'Kane.' and it is to him alone I award these stars.
I know nothing about this mans career, other than it was none exsistant, which is a damn shame, because he is as mad as Klaus Kinski, and looks like Christopher Walken after encountering a tribe of ruthless head shrinkers.
You will probably see him in nothing else, he may even have passed to the other side himself, ( I Truly hope not) But he somehow manages to keep his head above the effluvia of this film and give one of the most memorable performances I have ever seen.
If you disagree with me, then I shall find you and force you to watch it again and again, if however you agree... what are we going to do about it.
