This was originally serialised and was sent out over sveral weeks so the pacing may not seem quite right for a full length film. It was ahead of its time in 1990 showing powerful scenes of lesbian intimacy as it does. I think it captures the longing, the confusion, the guilt and the desperation that Vita felt so very well. The acting is superb and it is well worth a look.
This film would be more likely to suit gay women. I'm afraid I found it boring and disappointing.
