This is the worst yoga video I have ever seen in my life.

  • Perfect Yoga Video

This is the best yoga video out there, perfect length and perfect pace and perfect explanations. great for beginners and good for intermediate as a regular routine. Not sure how advanced will feel about it, but could be good for them as a regular routine now and then. I'm now renting all of Susan Fulton's videos.

This is a lovely DVD and a good intro to Power Yoga, although if you have done much yoga before, probably don't bother as it will be too basic.

  • a good Yoga DVD??..no really...it's ok!

I've watched a lot of Yoga and Pilates DVD's and for me this one was actually ok.

It's formatted well so you can do just one or two sections a day if you want,i.e. Standing Postures/Sun Salutations. The filming is professional with no bizarre camera angles (i.e Micah Hudson),the instructor Susan is straight-talking rather than the Californian 'feel the vibe from the dunes through your groin' style (i.e.Rodney Yees)and is fairly inoffensive (unlike the MTV Yoga presenter..'woop yeah..etc' and of course Geri (Geri Yoga - which is actually an ok DVD if you can get past Geri's trapped wind grinning at camera -even the instructor Kathy Appleton looks like she's tempted to punch her in the head) ...and Barbara Currie looks like someone's mom in lycra...nuff said.

Fitness/Yoga DVD's are by definition a bit naff but if you must roll around on your lounge floor scaring the neighbours, you can do (a lot)worse than Power Yoga.

I`m very much a Susan Fulton fan, she is extremely good at explaining yoga postures and this DVD is no different to her other ones in that respect.

It is excellent for beginners, although `Yoga for absolute beginners by Susan Fulton` is probably better for the more weighty person.

An excellent, well explained DVD 10/10
