Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock star as sisters who are descended from witches in this uneven black comedy romance based on Alice Hoffman's novel. Kidman is the wilder sibling, while Bullock is the home-loving store owner who falls for Aidan Quinn, the detective who investigates when Kidman's abusive boyfriend disappears. But Bullock is convinced the 2002 movie, in which she starred alongside Hugh Grant, spelled the end of the genre - because the quality of the movies made now is "c* Read more
