Prem Rog... filmi rog!
'Prem Rog' is certainly one of those films that have inspired millions of people around the world. It has become one of the classics to come out of the RK Studio camp and is remembered for Padmini's strong performance. Having similarities with the epic 'Devdas', 'Prem Rog' has been embedded in a more modern Indian society - but one with old values. The film is an exploration of how things can go devastatingly wrong if one intervenes with the natural process, and aims to present its results. Some parts of the film are extremely exaggerated and unbelievably cheesy, but that is Bollywood for you at that time! Worth at least one watch!
