un film formidable!!
By tak (19 reviews) from Spalding , 21 Dec 2007[Highly rated reviewer]
By no means as good as films such as Amelie; however, Hors de Prix (Priceless) is a fun and extremely well put together film.
Audrey tautou once again dazzles as the lead actress - looking unbelievable and plays her character supremely.
comedic moments in the film, are great - however dont expect there to be many.
The ending was well written.
overall - it is an excellent french film- Was this review helpful to you?

(256)Good French RomCom
By Bobsview (549 reviews) from Gloucestershire , 28 Feb 2013French film with sub titles. Enjoyable and very funny in parts RomCom yarn about hotel worker who forms a relationship with a girl who makes her living from sugar daddies. He also starts doing the same with rich middle aged women and they both them have lucrative side liaisons going on whilst they actually fall in love with each other.- Was this review helpful to you?

Has a certain je ne sais quoi
By a customer , 25 Oct 2012Apparently inspired by Breakfast at Tiffanys this tail of gold-digging among the age rich in the south of France deals with a potentially seedy subject with with great charm. It's hard to imagine a Hollywood rom-com tackling the same subject matter. But Priceless bring a French maturity to the subject matter. the participants present as knowing adults who by and large make their own choices. Though in the end the gold-diggers are always at the mercy of those with the gold. For a 12 there are plenty of references to sex, even if it is never shown, it's clear what is going on.
It the charm of the 2 leads that makes the film Tatou in particular is charming and sexy, but with a hint of steel, Gad Elmaleh excellent as her more naive fiol.
If the ending is predictable and sugar coated, that doesn't matter the journey has been such a pleasure.- Was this review helpful to you?
