    [Highly rated reviewer]

    Mediocre at best.

A destinct lack of originality and fairly obvious plot make this a less than interesting movie.

I watched the 3D version and was not impressed.

Being a converted movie not a native 3D title it was obviously not 'made' for 3D. You get mostly flat scenes with the addition of some comic book style cardboard cut out layered scenes.

Some nice effects, lovely scenery and generally well made movie in 2D however.

Some of the cast pull off their lines without making a mockery of the word 'acting' but not all of them.

Overall it is just let down by having nothing to define it as interesting or original.

There is nothing essentialy bad about it, but then again there is nothing that marks it out as good.

Just another, churn em out hollywood effects-buster with all its ideas stolen from other far more interesting movies.

If you're male, 16 years old and brain dead then this is the film for you, otherwise it's best avoided.

As a very wise young man once said:

'This sucks more than anything that has ever sucked before.'

    That is all.

  • Boring movie, Pristine video quality, 3D not poppy

This movie was a sheer a waste of my time. It was the mother of all cliches.

However, the video quality was pretty good and looked almost iMax-documentary like in some scenes. The 3D effect is also not very impressive. Basically, stay away from this like the plague.
