About the best one can say about this third entry in Roger Corman's Carnosaur series is that it isn't as terrible as the original, and it doesn't rip off Aliens as blatantly as the second one did. Otherwise, everything else is as cheap and uninspired as ever, including the recycled animatronics. Scott Valentine is an odd choice to play the leader of an anti-terrorist squad that sets out to recover a shipment of stolen dinosaurs. Most of the first half takes place in one warehouse, with endless stalking down crumbling hallways. Things pick up slightly when the action moves on to a ship, though it's here that the influence of Aliens becomes ever more apparent.
If you like Rubber raptors on rollerskates and men in black suits pushing them down mickey mouse sets after actors that were obviously expelled from acting school, this is perfect! Alternatively get a few beers and have a laugh!!
I actually bought this film new from a car boot for ?2 as I am usually a fan for monster movies or creature features, but this is stilted, woodenly acted with poor effects given the year it was made. It would be a waste of postage to have it sent to you and sending it back...
