    Highly amusing...

Uma Thurman and Meryl Streep both play very good roles. Basically the plot... Uma is 37 years old and falls for a young man of 23, now that in itself is not that bigger deal, now couple that with Uma's shrink, she see's her shrink (Streep) regularly to discuss her previous breakup, and begins to talk to her shrink about her new found physical love, Streep soon realises that this young lover of hers is infact her son! Shock Horror!!! So there you do have a very good basis for a very funny comedy, and yes it is amusing, you won't be rolling around in hysterics but you may well get a few chuckles. Look out for the Fryingpan Bashing Granny.

    Boring beyond belief!

Terrible film, do not rent this unless you are having trouble sleeping. I think it raised aboubt 5 laughs, but I couldn't care less if they stayed together or not. It seemed much longer than 1 hour 39 minutes.

    Happiness Vs the social trend...

A twist on the usual romantic comedy, (Uma Thurman) Rafi is14 years older than Bryan (David Bloomberg). A great look at the current social stigmata surrounding an older woman for a younger guy. His mother (Meryl Streep) adds a wonderul influence to the film as all she seems to want for her son is that he marries a jewish girl! A wonderful story with both of them stuggling with their new found love as Rafi is seriously contemplating motherhood and Bryan is just trying to discover his path in life. Happiness Vs the social trend...

    An enjoyable watch!

Uma thurman and meryl streep are great characters in this film. Its a funny, romantic film however it is a bit longwinded and feels like its longer than it is. It does have a bit more of a surprising ending though which I liked.

    Excellent

Don't take any notice about the negative comments on here about this film. It's a really good film and well worth watching.

    Boring beyond belief

I am a 32 year old women and i like romantic comedys generally speaking. However, this film is so pointless, i didnt believe they were in love because everything was so slow, no passion, no laughs, nothing really to hate about it, it was just a nothing film, i did not experience a single emotion except boredom.

I have never written a review b4 but this film is just another american rom com film which i found insultingly dull, i really do not know how they get away with it.

    Not what expected!!!!!

I quite fancied this flick when it was on the big screen but never got round to watching it so when I rented it from here I was quite looking forward to it as I like Uma Thurman.

It was rubbish. Dead predictable and never ending!.

Would not recommend it to anyone.

absolutely awful. This film is boring right from the offset. The characters are not likeable, the plot is boring and uninventive and the directing is mediocre. Please do not bother with this, it is the most boring, painful film i have ever had to endure.

    bad bad bad

I thought that when I went to the cinema I would enjoy the film, but it was really boring, and the ending was awful! I hate films with bad endings. so, dont bother watching it.
