Princess Blade is quite a good Japanese samurai type movie. Admittedly it was made on a small budget (I would think) and is quite slow in places, the brief and not too frequent action sequences are some of the best and the most exciting samurai sword fighting I've seen. No doubt it is largely to do with the fight choreographer Donnie Yen who injects the bite into the film! I think it could have used a little more action but that's just me. Give this film a try.
