"The most jaw-droppingly insane, hilarious, sweet, beautiful and tuneful film I've seen in many moons. I LOVED THIS MOVIE"
A cult favourite thanks to delirious, inventive, expressionist-tinged 60s gangster flicks like Branded to Kill... read more on Time Out
Again only watched this as I am Ziyi fan, a strange project for her to choose but you can say that is one of the qualities Ziyi has, she is always willing to try different roles. She refuses to be typecast and already in her young career she has done a movie in her native tongue, in Japanese and in English. Its easy for people to look at this and shake their heads it is odd, it is strange. But Ziyi as ever is very watchable, and I for one hopes she contines to be innovative in her work and not be seduced by the bright lights and dumb scripts which will mostly come her way in Hollywood. She is beautiful but more than that she is a very talented and accompolished performer who deserves to have a body of work which goes hand in hand with her talent.
