This, it has to be said, sums up the type of horror film I actually love. Yes I know I've only given it 1 and a half stars, but I just find it hilarious.

They had the perfect horror movie music, but then none of the scares. Everything that happened was obviously going to happen, and these girls were just down right stupid. If you've recognised a man, and you realise he's a killer, yes you would go and tell the person he's aiming to kill, but you'd also tell your boyfriend whom you're lying in bed with and not just jump up and run away. And if you proceed to not say a word to him and just run away, you would wait for the elevator and not run down a bunch of stairs when you're wearing incredibly inappropriate shoes. I understand that all this was done to 'create suspense' of some sort, but really it just made me sit and think how stupid they are.

And I don't know about you, but if I had just had a terrifying dream about turning the TV off, checking the window, going into the bathroom and looking in your bathroom cupboard, close it and get attacked. I would not then proceed to go and do each of these things. But maybe that's just me.

All in all I think Brittany Snow did a fairly decent job, Jessica Stroup wasn't really in it long enough for me to judge her acting in this but Dana Davis was not very good, there was no substance to her character and her ability to act surprised or shocked was (excuse the pun) shocking.

I apologise for being so harsh, because with all due respect, it was fun to watch!
