One of Gwyneth's Best

I was surprised to read that many other reviewers did not rate this film as highly as I. Even though the movie, in general terms, is about who wrote and proved the unsolvable equation, you do not have to be a mathmatical genius to enjoy 'Proof'. Accepting that I'm not a great fan of Gwyneth Paltrow, I would be the first to admit that her acting was quite superb in this movie. Anthony Hopkins, playing the part of her father was at his usual best and both were ably supported by Jake Gyllenhall and Hope Davis. The storyline was good as was the direction. If there was a down side it was that I figured out the ending before the finale ... but this did not deter my enjoyment one iota!
