Although this film has many similarities to other gangster betrayal filmsDonnie Brasco as an example I found my self being drawn in by Stephen Baldwins excellent portrayal as the the gang member forced to rat out his Gang family to save himself and his family NOT GREAT BUT GOOD

  • A passable effort, let down by script and ending.

It is an unfortunate rating really, as this had the potential to be so much better. The whole thing feels like a made-for-television film.

Stephen Baldwin and Peter Gallagher both do well with a script that needed more attention. The idea of having a mobster on the run and in witness protection throws an interesting curve ball into a film that is really about a struggling property developer. Aron Tager did pretty well with the character of Lujak, though he over-egged the 'final moment' breakdown a little.

In the end though, what really lets the film down is that the writers clearly did not know how to finish it. With a decent ending, I would have rated the film 3 and a half.

Good movie that punches above its weight. Alex Baldwin produces a brooding and moody performance which fits his character well and he is central to the storyline which holds its line throughout the film. Believable and convincing with some excellent photography, so well worth the watch!

  • Baldwin delivers in low budget mob movie

    Rated - 3.5 stars

Stephen Baldwin and Peter Gallagher (the main characters) make this film worth watching - one's an ex gangster, one's a suburban moralist. There aren't any major surprises, as you'll guess what's gonna happen next, all of which gives Baldwin an excuse to 'stare' people down, usually with a gun in hand.

    Didn't like the 'low-budget' feel.
