This tale of a young deaf girl who goes to San Francisco and gets a lot more than flowers in her hair is so much of its time you can almost smell the patchouli. To be avoided if you have an aversion to hipster slang, vans covered in psychedelic flowers and the sight of Jack Nicholson in a jerkin. It's a period piece most appropriate for elderly hippies and '60s sentimentalists. Put it this way - it features the Strawberry Alarm Clock, and if that means anything to you, you will probably enjoy this cheapo Roger Corman cash-in on the LSD craze.
