  Could have done better folks!
  
  Spike was a genius. His books often take incredible turns of narrative and direction which makes adapting them very difficult indeed.

  Not what I was hoping for but...
  
  I was hoping for a funny film with plenty to say about the partition of Ireland. This did not go that far. What you get is quite a nice surreal comedy.
