I can remember only one other film so fantastic that I broke the videotape, actually managed to wear it so thin that it snapped, just because I watched it so many times (the other one was "Full Metal Jacket").

I have watched this film an unhealthy number of times, and each and every time is nothing short of a cinematic joy. I can't explain how great this film is.

Tarantino's writing and directing is absolutely perfect, bringing in the gritty with the funny, the shocking with the thoroughly enjoyable.

The performances throughout are superb. Jackson is wonderful as the hard-hitting gangster who vows to change his ways, and Travolta is delightful as his partner, travelling as smoothyl as he can through a turmoil of events and emotions.

Uma Thurman is a shining example of the female lead, and Ving Rhames performs menacingly as the fearful Marsellus.

In my honest opinion, films don't really get much better than this. Tarantino plays with time, manipulating it to fit his will, and working a wonderful plot through some fantastic characters to produce a film which is ultimately one of the best things ever to hit the screen.

A masterpiece in every sense of the word, a long-enduring classic, one which has shaped and will continue to shape the world of cinema for years to come, and will rightfully leave a lasting impression on all who watch it. Why can't I give it more than 5 out of 5 stars?

15/10. Sensational.
