Oh dear, lets hope this now ends the pulse movies as this was by far the worst, I enjoyed Pulse and even thought pulse 2 was watchable. But this very low budget movie has no scares, a poor story and you will be glad when credits roll,- Was this review helpful to you?

lack of plot

ok I guess
By Tartan1971 (74 reviews) , 11 Nov 2012The girl in this film wasnt really that convincing with her acting skills. The story line the line was ok but a bit difficult to understand at times ! I suppose if you like the Pulse films so far then it might be good , I havnt seen the first one , and I like the second one but this one wasnt so good.

Good Storytelling
By Sybilisation (57 reviews) from London , 23 Sep 2012Just watched Pulse 2 and 3, and really enjoyed both parts. I probably shouldn't have looked for Pulse (1) in the meantime - because I was a bit disappointed when I read that Pulse is yet another American ripoff of a Japanese original - 'Kairo'.
So, even though the idea, which has been what I liked most about the films isn't original - at least parts 2 and 3 aren't a straight 'copy & paste job'. (Which is the impression I got from the summaries of Kairo and Pulse I read, and something that seems to be happening to most original East Asian ideas, books, scripts, films.)
Altogether, the film was entertaining - atmospheric.- Was this review helpful to you?
