    Bleak!

Can't remember why I went to watch this, but in all honesty this film is so forgetful that I am surprised that I even remember watching it, in the first place! The film has a very bleak theme to it from the start and it ends pretty much the same way (even bleaker). In a nutshell it's a story about how all these student get lured in by the ghost in the machine (or computer in this case). It takes over...and that an hour and a half of one's life is gone, watching this bleak yuck!

Christina Milian does look H.O.T. though, possibly the only plus of watching this crap!

    A Good Watch!

Before I watched this movie I had read the reviews here but had already received it so I had no choice but to actually watch it, and I'm glad I did!

Don't listen to most of the comments here, I can't understand why they are all so negative, unless they just don't like films like this, which makes me wonder why they order it in the first place.

Hey, look, it's not going to win any oscars, but I thought it was a good, entertaining watch, what more can one ask.

a half decent remake of what was originally only a half decent Japanese horror. Bad acting, laughably bad scare scenes and a poor re-worked ending... Wes Craven should hang his head in shame being involved in this turkey. AVOID THIS FILM AT ALL COSTS.

    Enjoyed it

I thought this was quite good. Still not quite as good or spooky as the Japanese version (As usual) but obviously the effects are a lot better. Yes it is quite bleak but this adds to the overal look of the film. Worth a look for a saturday night if you dont want to think too much about a horror film.

    A worth while watch

Whilst this film is never gonna win an Oscar it is worth a watch. It has a good, unique story line which never goes flat. The special effects are good and there are plenty of spine tingling moments to keep you alert. If you rent this film then you get exactly what you want from a horror. Creepy, dark settings with some creepy, scary moments mixed in. All in all, Not Bad!

    Please don't waste your time

A film usually isn't any good when you have to click on it just to remember what it is about - this was boring and uneventful.

    A pleasant surprise

I heard bad things about this film but I am a fan of the original and so was eager to see whether the yanks had messed up another classic Japanese creepy horror.

There were bits that annoyed me but on the whole I thought the film retained most of the structure which made the original very creepy and the sets were nice and depressingly bleak with decent turns from the actors.

Well worth seeing but watch the original as well (or instead)

    Worth watching!

Decided to rent this despite all the bad reviews, and was pleased I did.

It's a reasonable film with a very dark, eerie feel; if you take it for what it is it's a good piece of entertainment. I really enjoyed it! Can't understand why people have been quite so harsh in their reviews.

    This film has no pulse!

Oh dear. This film really doesn't go anywhere. I didn't feel anything for the two main protaganists or any of their friends for that matter when they started getting bumped off. There is no shock factor and the hollywood special effects cannot cover up what is essentially a flop. By the end of the film I was left wondering what was all that about and why?(the brief explanation we get towards the end of the film, just throws up more questions). In fact after watching this film I feel empty....... worthless.......life's not worth living........oh my! Where did I put that red insulation tape?!
