Very PoorBy Deborah Wilson from Farnborough, Hants , 20 Jan 2006
[Highly rated reviewer]Being a big fan of the original puppet master films I was really disappointed with this one. Very poor acting and the puppets did not rule the film as they had in the past. The Demonic toys were crap and unrealistic. This could have been so much better.
TRIPEBy PVCPoodle from West Midlands , 07 Oct 2011When these films frist came out 25years + ago they were quite scarey - but more so due to the concept 'living puppets'.Having revisited this film for a laugh have been left with the same impression - OK for its time, but laughably dated. This film has it all Hammy acting, poor SFX and a feeble storyline. The two most mildly amusing points in the film being the flatulant possesed baby using this as a means of attack and the demonic draft excluder with the blue eye shadow.AVOID.
Puppet vs ToysBy LuciaandKisuke (36 reviews) from Leicester , 24 Jul 2008I liked this film very much, but compared to the original puppet master, this was just a flimsy less scary version. I think of this film as just a fun way of seeing what the ancestors of the original puppet master would be like. I still love the film.
what the hell is thisBy neilcharnock (36 reviews) from Wigan , 13 May 2008rubbish acting, animatronics and apalling effects
a sad end to the seriesBy a customer from Stoke-on-Trent , 30 Mar 2008after the greats of Puppet master 1-2 and 3, we end up with this 'mish mash' of a movie. The story is flimsy, the effects cheap and generally a sad way for a great series to bow out.
Interesting concept that falls flat on its faceBy a customer from Middlesex , 17 Mar 2008Good concept bringing these two together but missing somthing that I cant quite put my fingure on..... ahh yes they didn't bother writing a script....
