Pursuit Frustration!
By a customer from Milton Keynes , 27 Apr 2006[Highly rated reviewer]
In many respects, Pursuit Force is a very impressive game. The graphics and presentation are excellent and the numerous strategies that must be adopted to progress, e.g. jumping from moving vehicles and killing enemies while in mid-air, shooting while driving or just ramming enemy cars off the road, make for some interesting and enjoyable gameplay. However, the addictive nature of this title, combined with the extreme level of difficulty of many of the missions (which unfortunately cannot be adjusted), sets the scene for a very frustrating gameplay experience. All in all, Pursuit Force is worth a look (even if only to demonstrate the graphical and technical prowess of the PSP), but don't take it to heart when you find yourself attempting a level maybe 30-40 times. You'll literally end up throwing your PSP out of the window!- Was this review helpful to you?

(5)Far Too Hard!
By a customer from Coventry, England , 18 Oct 2006I first saw this game when I first got my PSP in 2005, and I got this for Christmas and since then I have only played it twice as I know I will throw my PSP accross the room if I play it. Really, I liked the concept and the graphics are pretty good, and its a shame they have made it so hard because it would be fun if you could even get past the fifth mission. All the missions are the same sort of idea though and this gets repetitive over time, and the controls feel clunky and they still feel the same whether your driving in a car or boat. So if you have the patience of saint then try it, but if your like me then AVOID!- Was this review helpful to you?

Worlds most frustrating game ever.
By BarryNorman (34 reviews) from Welling , 24 Apr 2006This game made me physically throw my psp across the living room. It's that bad.
There are three types of gameplay: Driving, Walking and shooting.
The levels are split into different gangs each with about 6 'cases' that you have to complete. You have to complete previous levels before you can unlock the later ones. The idea is to complete different objectives on each level, for example destroy 3 vehicles before the time runs out. You have to catch up with the cars Chase HQ style and then jump from your car onto theirs and shoot the living crap out of the pasengers.
The graphics are average, there is a lot of slow down when there is a lot of action going on.
The learning curve is too high, you'll be hard pressed to even get past the 3rd levels of each gang. The time limits are too short and very unforgiving.
This game will make you want to pull every single hair out of your body with a tweezer, it's as bad as being tortured. For the sake of keeping sane do not rent this game.- Was this review helpful to you?
