[Highly rated reviewer]A science fiction film that won't rock your world by any stretch of the imagination, which is a shame, they could have done a lot more with it, as it has a half decent cast. Basically a group of young Americans with telekinetic and clairvoyant abilities are hiding out in the far east from a clandestine U.S. government agency who stalk them continually for their powers. They eventually band together led by Nick Gant (Chris Evans) and Cassie Holmes (Dakota Fanning) and assisted by Kira Hudson ( Camilla Belle) in order to break free from the sinister Henry Carver (Djimon Hounsou) and the agency forever.
The problem with it is it's chaotic nature , meandering plot that seems to go nowhere , and it just doesn't hold the interest enough. The special powers they all have look weak bordering on the ridiculous, and you just get the feeling that the whole cast just don't really have their hearts in it. Even the pace was sluggish and at almost two hours I found myself getting increasingly distracted as I tried to keep focused on the mediocre plot. The only two positives were the location which was interesting to look at , and the performance of Ms Fanning who continues to improve as she blossoms into womanhood. She is easily the best thing in it. Don't bother with the cinema for this one, it's a DVD watch and then if there isn't anything else that fires your interest. All in all a wasted opportunity. In a word....................Disappointing.

Stick with itBy a customer , 03 Mar 2012Average start, brilliant towards the end. To some, might seem 3 star but the plot at the end is genius.
Push it into the dustbin!By Fergmeister (2 reviews) from Hamilton , 29 Feb 2012Utter tripe. I wouldn't waste airtime on this. The great cast must be scarlet with embarrassment putting their name to this. Give it a miss.

Why The Bad Rap?By Kydel (7 reviews) from Bishop Auckland , 28 Feb 2012This film seems to be getting such a bad rap and I don't really know why. Fair enough, it is not the greatest film I've ever seen, but it's not the worst by far.
Chris Evans is a 'Mover', a guy with limited telekinesis skills, who becomes embroiled in a hunt for a case he knows little about. On the way he meets up with plenty of different 'super-humans' who all have varied talents and levels of ability.
The cast is not bad, with the usual strong performance from Dakota Fanning as a 13 year old 'Watcher' and Camilla Belle playing a pretty convincing 'Pusher'.
Set in Hong Kong, it gives a different back drop than the usual setting of down town New York or something similar.
All in all, this is a good film if you are looking for something with action, sci-fi and relative ease to watch.
xmen meets the matrix...... kind of :)By slippypoop (4 reviews) from Surbiton , 23 Feb 2012Not a bad film at all, lots of little twists in the story line to keep it interesting but not too many that it becomes confusing . All in all not the best film I've ever seen but certainly not the worst.
