what a load of rubbish couldnt get into it or understand it ,not worth watching
PUSH is a very watchable film thanks to it fluid pacing and race against time feel. Watching it though you can't help feel that the whole film is a 'setup' movie that is designed to spawn sequels given the amount of backstory we find out about each character during the course of the film. Whilst this was welcome considering characterisation in this genre isn't always a strength the plot noticeably suffers for this. An example of this is the complete lack of information given to the audience as to why an asian gang is involved and what their motives and link to the other characters are. Another note about the film seeming like a 'set-up' for a sequel is the numerous amounts of loose ends that aren't dealt with, including the wide open ending. The special effects are workable but not mind-blowing by any stretch of the imagination. They aren't bad enough to take you out of the film unlike the shoddy CGI in Wolverine which pulled me out of the film and I could never really get back into it. The acting is OK, Dakota Fanning steals almost every scene she is in although this is helped by the wooden display by Chris Evans who gives a workable but uninspiring performance, he really needs to learn how to emote more. So in summary, PUSH is a good sci-fi thriller film that won't impress you with an intricate storyline but will charm you with some interesting characters. It introduces an interesting world and I would like to see a sequel in the future, hopefully with a bigger budget and a tighter plot with some of the many loose ends being tied up.
sorry to say but this must be the best made worst film in memory that ive seen,
the cast are ok the quality of the effects and direction seem ok, but somewhere it is a very disapointing film, and not sure why?????

What a waste of my time watching this garbage.
This film seemed to hold a level of promise, a telented cast with an evident level of skill restricted only by a disjointed and meaningless plot. It smacks of riding on the current superhero bandwagon genre sweeping our cinemas, but alas, sadly fails to entertain. Adding further insult by consuming the best part of two hours to lead you nowhere in particular and then leave you abruptly. An hour and 51 minutes that could be better used elsewhere.
Like the other Paul McGuigan film I have seen 'Wicker Park' I found this film tedious and turned off after 30 minutes. I found the plot difficult to concentrate on and the dialogue poor. Don't bother investing time in this movie.
To me this films appears to be a set up for a sequel. Although the action scenes and special effects are quite cool the plot seemed to lack.
Possibly the worst film I have seen in the past year (and I've seen at least one every day).
I was confused within the first few minutes, and lost total interest with the 'fish tank' scene.
I've not seen Heroes, but from what I saw of Push, it reminded me of the constant 'Heroes' trailers from a year or so ago.
Push simply made no sense to me. I had no idea what was going on, and my dislike of the film is entirely due to me not understand the film.
Many characters had special abilities, but there seemed to me to be no link between these people.
The basic premise of the film was good, and with a better plot could have been excellent. Tthe effects were ok. The acting was good. The scenes were good, the production was good, but the plot was total garbage.
Before this film I had never ever halted a film without watching to the end. However I couldn't take any more and had to halt it 10 minutes early.
Absolute garbage. Avoid at all costs. At least I did not purchase it.
