    [Highly rated reviewer]

If you pay any attention to the negative reviews posted here you will miss out on what is actually a pretty good film. Not incredible, but worth watching as it takes the 'rage' infection concept down a slightly more believable path than the original Rec films with their Poltergeist approach.

My recommendation is to watch this film as a 'Spin Off' from the Rec franchise as opposed to a 'sequel'. A kind of 'Frasier' for bloodthirsty Zombie films.

Well folks I enjoyed this movie, I liked the first Quarantine and wondered as usual would the second one be as good, or just a big let down. This seems to have many bad reviews, I think it was great. As the plane land they find they are quarantined, with the zombie buggers moving faster than John Travolta on Saturday Night!!! Wouldn't like one of 'em hot on my trail (or JT). Give this one a whirl, its worth the watch x x x

I enjoyed it and it's lucky i ignored some of the reviews on here or I would have not rented it. Thought the lead actress Mercedes Masohn was excellent, very natural actress as well as being as fit as a butchers dog. It's clear it was low budget but that didn't spoil it for me and it wasn't that obvious until I realised it was all being filmed in a luggage hall. It was at times scary/jumpy and I agree with a previous reviewer that whilst I liked Rec far more, the premise of a cult trying to wipe out humanity was more believable than the religious idea in Rec. Well worth a look.

  • Okay if you can see past the plot holes.

This is not a scene-for-scene remake of Rec 2 (like Quarantine was of Rec), but a film in it's own right. There's not much else positive to say about it though. It could have been a tense, claustrophobic and atmospheric rabid zombie flick if it had all took place on the plane, but once the crew and passengers disembark things spiral downhill quickly. If you can see past the constant plot holes in the story line and script you'll still enjoy it, but they ruined it for me. The air hostess turning into Alice from Resident Evil was the last straw.

Although Rec and Rec 2 are far superior in my opinion, as a sequel (if you can call it that re: plot) this film is not badly done at all. There are some particularly good chase sequences, particularly towards the end of the film.
