A Liitle Gem!By jch21c1 (42 reviews) from Halesowen , 06 Jan 2013

[Highly rated reviewer]Definitely for the Radio 4/Classic FM generation this film is a little gem. Sensitively done you wouldn't think this was a thoroughly British film directed by an American, Dustin Hoffman. It is hard to pick out the best performance of Smith, Courtney, Conolly or Collins, but on balance the latter steals the day. Highly recommended.

Weak storyBy Jackaroo (16 reviews) , 30 Oct 2013
[Highly rated reviewer]Started off with promise but although some great actors, the story was somewhat weak and I was disappointed as I was expecting a great fim.
Waste of TalentBy poindexter (25 reviews) from Romford , 27 Oct 2013Again I am surprised that such a truly awful film like this actually got funding. Are all the talented cast so hard up that they agreed to do it or was it just because Dustin Hoffman was the producer/director? It had a feeble story line and it was embarrassingly sentimental. I hope no one actually paid money to go and see it.
Not worth watchingBy supercue (4 reviews) , 25 Oct 2013This film was very poor. A weak story. Really did not get going expected more from a strong cast. We did not find it funny.
Feel good filmBy a customer , 22 Oct 2013A lovely feel good film. So nice to watch something that leaves you feeling good, so good that I would request it again!
Stars the big Yin but its a big YawnBy StevenageSteve (4 reviews) from Stevenage , 20 Oct 2013I really expected more from such a good cast. The story never got going. I was really looking forward to this film, its a shame it just plods along and goes nowhere, a few good one liners but that's it.
