Oh no no no

If you are a fan of Anne Rice's books DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE. It misses out vital characters and Stuart Townsend is awful, and what happened to Armand?!!!

Apart from this, the movie is just plain terrible. 1 Star is generous.

ok so I have decided in my infinite wisdom to review every single film i have ever seen on love film... Currently still on the letter 'A' Once again I am confused by the fact it appears under the letter A... This one will be brief... As the other reviews pretty much unanimously agree this film was a complete pile...

not as good as the book

this film was ok, but like all films really wasn't a smidge on the book.

Anne Rice has a way of transporting your mind and in this film it didn't really come across.

Good soundtrack though

Good on it's own as entertainment

As a stand alone film this is good entertainment - it is a simple and cut down story.

Sadly for a fan of the novels that means that a lot is missing and also a lot has totally changed.

not an amazing film butnot a bad film. should have kept true to the book though. definitely should've kept tom cruise as lestat.
