CHEESE?

i liked the film up until Radio becomes everybody`s best pal, then the Cheese moments set in, he goes from zero to hero almost overnight and that part of the film just did`nt work for me, it should have been harder for him to become so popular, Ed Harris does a good job as coach but Cuba Gooding Jr. just is`nt up to scratch as Radio, it`s as though he watched Rainman when he researched the role (i thought Dustin Hoffman`s performance in that film was awful), so Cuba in a sense copies Dustin Hoffman`s poor performance as the Rainman, meaning he`s even worse as Radio than Hoffman was as Rainman, but on a scale of 1 to 5 i`ll give this film 2 because the story shines through the performance.
